Hotel Majestic, very central, nicely renovated, with all confort, where we stayed.

L'hôtel Majestic, très central, parfaitement rénové, avec tout le confort nécessaire, où nous séjournâmes.

 Not far from there, Hotel Ritz, absolutely not renovated, without any comfort, but with nice architecture. Long time ago it was a must.

Non loin de là, l'hôtel Ritz, dans son jus (pas rénové du tout), sans aucun confort, mais à l'architecture magnifique. Il y a longtemps c'était un "must" à Tunis.
Opposite our hotel, this beautiful "colonial" building, with a nice renovated façade (except the coupola !).

En face de notre hôtel, un magnifique immeuble de style "colonial" avec une belle façade rénovée (à l'exception de la coupole d'angle!).
There is still lot to do !

Il y a encore beaucoup de travail à faire !
Some buildings are better preserved than others.

Certains immeubles sont mieux préservés que d'autres.
Just open the door of a building near our hotel, and you will be able to imagine how life was during the time French ruled the country.

Il suffit d'ouvrir une porte d'immeuble proche de notre hôtel pour s'imaginer comment l'on vivait du temps où les français dirigeaient le pays.
Nice old house, totally abandoned.

Très belle vieille maison, complètement abandonnée.
This nice building on main avenue will be preserved.

Ce bel immeuble sur l'avenue Bourguiba sera sauvé.
